Quick start
- Open PicWiz and choose Seamless Carousel, Triple Stack, or Photo Collage.
- Choose one or more photos from your library.
- Adjust the composition, crop, format, and styling.
- Tap Preview to see the full-resolution design in a social-media post mockup.
- Tap the save button to export the finished image or images to Photos.
The first time you save, iOS will ask for permission to add images to your photo library.
Free saves and PicWiz Pro
PicWiz includes five free saves with access to every editor, design, and export format. One tap of the save button counts as one save, even when it creates a complete multi-frame carousel. Previews and unsuccessful saves do not use a free save.
After the five free saves have been used, you can still create, edit, and preview designs. PicWiz Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited saves—there is no subscription.
Your remaining free saves appear below the save button. Tap that message at any time to view the unlock screen. If you previously purchased PicWiz Pro, choose Restore purchase. Your free-save count is also synchronised through iCloud when available.
Seamless Carousel
Seamless Carousel splits one wide image into a set of aligned, swipe-ready posts.
- Tap Choose a wide photo.
- Set the number of frames from 2 to 10.
- Choose Square (1:1), Portrait (4:5), or Landscape (1.91:1).
- Use Crop left edge and Crop right edge to trim the source image.
- Use Vertical to move the visible area up or down.
- Tap Preview, then save the posts to Photos.
The posts are saved in swipe order. Select them in the same order when creating your social-media carousel.
Triple Stack
Triple Stack combines exactly three photos into a single post.
- Tap Choose 3 photos and select three images.
- Choose Rows for three horizontal slices or Columns for three vertical slices.
- Choose the post format.
- Move each photo's slider to adjust the area shown in its slice.
- Turn on White photo borders to add separators and an outer border.
- Preview the result, then tap Save triple stack.
Photo Collage and Layouts
Photo Collage combines up to 12 images into one post or a swipeable set of posts.
- Tap Choose photos and select your images.
- Choose a layout:
- Grid creates clean, balanced rows.
- Layered uses editorial-style overlaps.
- Scrapbook creates playful photo arrangements.
- Featured uses a fixed designer composition.
- Drag the numbered photo thumbnails to change their order.
- Choose the post format, photo look, and background.
- Preview the finished design, then save it to Photos.
Grid, Layered, and Scrapbook
These layouts can span from 1 to 5 frames. Use Photo size, Photo spacing, and Background opacity to customise the composition. You can also choose a border style: None, Clean, Polaroid, Instamatic, Photo album, or Film.
PicWiz suggests a frame count based on the number of selected photos, but you can change it with the plus and minus buttons.
Featured designs
Featured designs use a specific number of photos and have a fixed frame count. Available designs include:

Select the same number of photos required by the chosen design. PicWiz displays a warning if photos need to be added or removed.
Use Show photo dividers to add or remove lines between photos. To adjust a crop, choose a numbered photo under Position photos, then move its X and Y position sliders.
Photo looks and backgrounds
Photo looks include Original, Instamatic, Retro, Sepia, B&W, and Autochrome. Background options include White, a custom Colour, a colour Gradient, Wood, or another Photo from your library.
Export sizes
PicWiz creates 1080-pixel-wide posts in these formats:

Frequently asked questions
Does PicWiz change my original photos?
No. PicWiz reads the photos you select and saves newly created images. Your originals remain untouched.
Where are my finished images?
Finished designs appear in the Photos app. Multi-frame designs are saved as separate images in swipe order.
Does a multi-frame carousel use more than one free save?
No. A successful save counts once, whether it contains one image or several carousel frames.
Why does the save button show a lock?
All five free saves have been used. You can continue editing and previewing for free, but saving more designs requires the one-time PicWiz Pro unlock.
How do I restore PicWiz Pro?
Tap the save allowance shown below any save button, then choose Restore purchase on the unlock screen. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase and has an internet connection.
Why is the save button unavailable?
Wait for the selected photos and preview to finish loading. Seamless Carousel needs one photo, Triple Stack needs exactly three, and Photo Collage needs at least one. Featured designs show a warning when the selected photo count does not match the chosen template.
Why can't PicWiz save to Photos?
PicWiz needs permission to add finished images to your library. Open Settings, select PicWiz, and allow Photos access. Return to PicWiz and try again.
Why is part of my photo cropped?
Photos are cropped to fill the selected post format or layout. Use the available crop and position controls to choose the visible area, or try a format that more closely matches the source photo.
Why is the preview taking a while?
Large photos and multi-frame designs can take a moment to render. Wait for the progress indicator to finish. If it does not complete, return to the previous screen, reopen the editor, and select the photos again.
Why won't the purchase screen load?
Check your internet connection and tap Try again. Purchases and restorations require access to the App Store.
Privacy
PicWiz only accesses images you select through the iOS photo picker. It asks for permission to add finished images to Photos when you save. Photo editing and rendering take place on your device.
